13th Latino CommunityFair
The Latino Community Fair (LCF) Planning Committee is making arrangements for the 13th Latino CommunityFair to be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1000 Bluff Street, Beloit on Sunday, September 15, 2013, 3 – 6 pm. The LCF is free to the public. The change of location and date are so that we can make this our annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration and to take advantage of the generosity of the church to help us be able to do better fundraising.
We invite you to have a booth educating the Latino population and the general community about your organization. The booth fee structure will be as follows: $50 for businesses or for-profit organizations; $30 for non-profit organizations; and $50 for food booths (You must provide proof of your temporary food vendor license). This year, the registration fee includes one 6’ table and 2 chairs. If you would like additional tables and chairs, there will be an additional charge of $15 for each additional table and 2 chairs. Please remember, you will not be considered as registered until we have your registration form and payment.
Please let us know if you will need electricity so that we can provide you with a space near an outlet. You must bring your own extension cord if you need one. Unless you specifically request to have your booth outside, there is no need for you to bring a canopy. As of today’s date, we are planning to have all booths indoors. For those agencies/organizations wishing to share a table or to be located next to each other, applications for the agencies/organizations involved must be sent in together and clearly state that they will either be sharing a table or that they want to be located together. We are hoping that this location and booth arrangement will be better for all the exhibitors to be able to hear and see the presentations as well as making it easier for attendees to get to every booth.
We will be holding a prize drawing for attendees. Your organization may choose to donate items for this prize drawing. LSPC will be responsible for the prize drawing (drawing winners and calling their names). If you choose to participate, you can bring your donations to the welcome table on the day of the event. You may also choose to have your own prize drawing at your booth. However, you will need to contact winners after the LCF. We will not be calling off names of individual booth prize drawing winners.
We ask that you arrive a minimum of 60 minutes before the event is to begin to have sufficient time to find your space and set up. You will be provided with a map of the floor plan and your booth location before the event.
